Fears and Concerns
We are aware that some of you have worries about coming to Darksun Festival, especially in light of recent events.
Firstly let us assure you all that we have been working our hardest to make sure that this event will be safe and secure and that you will have totally peace of mind whilst at DarkSun Festival.
In order for us to be so confident in our event, we have been given the permission and approval of the Tourism board of Nepal. They have granted us with an N.O.C (No Objection Certificate) which entitles us to hold this event for the entire ten days.
We have also been given the backing and support from members of the local community of Pokhara and important political groups, who give their blessing for Darksun.
Location and Information....
We are really lucky to have found ourselves the most amazing floor for you to stomp in.
You will have the most amazing views of the natural beauty of Nepal, and a wide flowing river to enjoy.
Darksun Festival ground is located 10Km from Pokhara town center, a place called Bagmara on the bank of the Seti River.
There will be signs from Pokhara to lead you to the Festival....
Buses will be provided to take people from Pokhara to Darksun Festival, but please be aware of the volume of people, so try to arrange your own transport...

7 hours drive from Kathmandu, has good views and endless space outside to unwind in nature. Exact driving details will be given closer to the festival.
Tickets:
Entrance for full 10 day of festival: 5500/-Indian Rupees or 100 Euros, Nepali rupee's also accepted(for Nepali national's only)
Entrance for 3 day art fair/chill out:1500/- Nepali Rupees
Art Fair Trader Fees: 1500/-Indian Rupees(includes space for 3days)
Only Indian Rupees and Eur's accepted for entrance ticket NO NEPALI RUPEES at the gate but accepted inside festival ground.
Drinking Water FREE
Mo Mo stall, Chai shop, organic juice bar, fruit and veg stall, bbq, Thali stand, Bonfire, Bar counter and more...
Bring SUNSCREEN!!! It gets very hot in the day and cold at night so be prepared.
Bring your own sleeping gear, plenty of camping space available but not equipment.
